Weird? Me? Don't know what you are talking about

My dad is bi-polar and as a result we are slightly more 'focused' on odd things that the boys (or I) might do - we all smile about Thomas's OCD tendencies (he smiles too - fortunately) - examples; if any fabric has a nap it has to be smoothed out in one direction, the stools in the kitchen have to be a certain way round and, despite being Italian, he finds spaghetti annoying - just to look at. But then there's me ..... it drives Robert NUTS - when I have a drink, any drink, it has to be in a specific glass/cup/mug etc - and there is one for every drink of the day - I don't see why it causes him so much anxst - here's a quick run through.....

Espresso cup for that first coffee of the day
Monday's Child for the Amercian style coffees
which then get me through the morning

Mr Strong for my middle of the afternoon cup of tea
 - if it is a normal cup of tea with milk

My posh cup for those hot lemon tea moments

The romagnolo glass for when
we have local Romagnolo red wine

Ikea glass for normal red or white

The Dartington for the bubbles

The new entry for our latest apertivo drink -
prosecco and aperol - summer in a glass

Not rocket science is it???

    1. Instead of refusing, his form of protest is to drink wine from a mug sometimes....the pleasure he gets from seeinge the pain on my face:)

  6. I think it's great, keeps him on his toes ;) It would be dangerous for me to have favourite mugs though, we break so many!

  7. I use the same cup for my tea all day, don't wash, I just keep on refilling it! Lemon tea seems to taste better from quality china though, I agree.

  9. Sounds perfectly logical to me, I have a specific 'first cuppa of the day' mug and a collection of similar wine glasses :-D

  10. My daughter seems to have the same habit as you, though I do think hers has more to do with not wanting to wash up!
