First day....part 1

 

A holiday snap.....

Off to school........

This has nothing to do with anything...

  After a loooong summer holiday - from 9th June to 16th September - Leo has just left the house to go back to school - at last. He has had a fab time - lots of time with his friends, concerts, Rome, Camp, Canada and to round it off, a week in London with his best buddie Vanti....... but today's the day life has to get back to normal for him....back into Terza (the 3rd year of high school) ...the best year really - they go into the last 3 year cycle, are considered fairly 'mature' yet don't have the stress that the 4th and 5th year will bring.
We know almost all his teachers - Thomas had most of them - so we have an idea of what we're in for and hopefully the year will go well. Who am I kidding ?  I know what is going to happen ...a good few months, a slack few months, the risk of having to repeat some subjects, I'll go nuts for a bit, he'll pull his socks up for a bit, and he'll get through - completely stressed out and frazzled. But ...you never know...carrots and things - he had such a great time in London and knows that if he gets through the first period (until January) then maybe he can go back to my brother's for a long weekend with Vanti.....watch this space.....
